A Thousand Years of Looking at the York Museum Gardens Dr Peter Hogarth Wednesday 12 June 2019

By looking at thousands of sketches, prints, paintings, photographs and maps Dr Hogarth is able to present a diverse  approach in ‘documentary art’ in this illustrated lecture : the land and the Gardens over 1,000 years.

Dr Hogarth is a Senior Lecturer in Biology at the University of York, and a Fellow in the Biology Department. Amongst many interests, he has researched and co authored a book about the history of the Museum Garden in York
